why are some pictures sideways? I have no idea. There are no options to reposition the pictures, so whatever. you all have to live with the some times sideways pictures. meanwhile, enjoy!

It is so deliciously exciting to be living this moment in your life with you. It reminds me of the ecstasy of fall for me 50 years ago when I came to Michigan for grad school. I rode everywhere about town pell mell on a Raleigh three speed shift in hub bike with an enclosed chain which I still have, hanging upside down in my garage, like a wheeled bat. The leaves here are turning now too, my street golden and red in that curious muted brilliance and illuminated glow of the sun and blue sky behind the leaves. Thank you, Falstaff
